History

The Ignatian Spirituality Project (“ISP”) began in 1998 in Chicago when Fr. Bill Creed, SJ was asked to make the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius available to people with experiences of homelessness. ISP is now an international network offering spiritual retreats and companionship programs in 29 cities around the United States, Canada, and Ireland. In the fall of 2016, ISP expanded to Toronto where, through an innovative partnership with Regis College, the first ISP Toronto retreats were held.
